For the second summer in a row, Teresa Herbic has released a book of animal stories for children. The Liberty author’s most recent title is “Dog Tales,” eight stories told through the perspectives of eight dogs adopted over the years by Herbic’s family. The book is also based on the Beatitudes — eight blessings from the Sermon on the Mount described in the Book of Matthew. “There are stories of love, humility, struggles, adoption, childhood lessons, and some history lessons woven throughout about Missouri and Kansas,” Herbic said.
