Precious Adopted RoxyBelle Plays Peek-a-Boo with Kids

Update from Sister Frankie on RoxyBelle:

My girl Roxybelle is growing like a weed and so is Mr. Three he is the center dark headed goat in this photo. Surprising they are about the same age and neither one can be picked up and held anymore.

Roxybelle is playing peek-a-boo around the fence post with them this morning. Notice how fluffy she is getting. She is growing her undercoat and changing patterns. The black on her legs is shedding off and she may have all tan legs after, not sure yet.  She also has a bit of gold coming in across her shoulders, neck, and upper back.  She was considered 'blanket' pattern, but they change so much that she may actually end up a 'saddle' pattern. Only God knows.

Love to you all,
Sis Frankie

Update on New Adoptive RoxyBelle Sweetheart from Frankie

Roxybelle just had her 6 month birthday and has grown a lot in the last month. It's not easy to keep her still long enough for a photo. She loves laying in the monkey grass around one of our Live Oak trees. She really does add a lot of joy to my life. I thank God for my sweet girl.
Have a blessed day,
Love,
Sis Frankie

The Love of a Puppy

He looks around in wide wonder
He absorbs the gentle touch
He knows that he is adored
He realizes that love is simple:

Love is patient and kind;
love does not envy or boast;
it is not arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way;
it is not irritable or resentful;
it does not rejoice at wrongdoing,
but rejoices with the truth.
Love bears all things,
believes all things,
hopes all things,
endures all things.
Love never ends.
1 Cor. 13:4

Miracle Overcomes Abuse, Helps Others Recover Through Pet Therapy

Former hunting dog now brings joy and comfort to both people and pets

Ben Forman will never forget the story of how his dog Miracle came to Homeward Bound, an animal welfare group in London, Kentucky.
In the fall of 2011, a woman was driving down a rural road and saw 2 men had pulled their truck to the side of the road. They had guns, which they were using to beat on something in the dirt behind the truck. Terrified, the woman held back and waited until the men cleared out.

They had left their victim behind in a ditch. The purebred foxhound likely was abandoned because she had failed at her hunting duties.

The woman took the dog — with one eye missing, broken bones and a fractured skull that led to a traumatic brain injury — to Homeward Bound.
Amazingly, their veterinarian was able to heal her physical injuries. Her emotional scars took a little more time. But that’s where Ben and Kristen Forman came in. Learn More about this Miracle Dog:

Street Dog from India, Amazing Rescue

https://youtu.be/bpfXI4_yJ28
When Animal Aid Unlimited received a call about a dog wandering the streets in rural India, they weren’t sure about what to expect. They heard that the dog had a severely swollen face from some sort of injury, but they still had no way of knowing just how bad it was.
When they finally found the poor pup, they realized just how dire the situation had become.
The dog’s face had become so swollen from an abscess that he hardly even looked liked a dog anymore.
